Our Founder

Simon Sikorski, MD

Simon Sikorski is the founder of Best Is Me, a health education and decision-support platform built around one belief: people need better questions before major health decisions move too fast.

His background sits at the intersection of medicine, medical research, clinical education, healthcare innovation, and practice adoption. He earned his MD through the American Program at Poznan University of Medical Sciences in Poland after completing pre-med studies at Boston College. His early education was shaped by 12 years of Jesuit training around service, discipline, justice, and the pursuit of excellence.

For nearly two decades, Simon worked around medical research, clinical protocols, med tech adoption, healthcare startups, and physician education. He saw how powerful medical innovation can be when it is used well. He also saw the gaps: rushed visits, fragmented specialists, shallow history-taking, narrow protocols, and patients left trying to connect the whole picture themselves.

Then the work became personal.

After long-COVID complications, cancer, hemochromatosis, rapid health deterioration, weight gain, pain, poor sleep, and years of unanswered questions, Simon became the kind of patient he had spent years thinking about: the person whose labs may not explain the whole story, whose symptoms are real, and whose body is clearly sending signals that do not fit neatly into one specialty.

The standard answers were not enough. So he went back into the research. Not to reject medicine, but to ask better questions before interventions, protocols, and expensive decisions took over.

The problem is not that doctors are bad. The problem is that the system often moves faster than the investigation.

Best Is Me grew from that gap.

Today, the work focuses on private health decision support, root-cause education, and fat loss readiness before major health decisions move too fast: GLP-1s, hormone replacement, fertility treatment, preparation before surgery, recovery after surgery, fat loss protocols, and longevity interventions.

The goal is not to replace medical care. It is to help people prepare better questions, organize their timeline, understand the signals, and see what may be missing before they commit to the next step.

The founder’s lens

Simon’s work is shaped by medicine, research, athletics, fatherhood, personal illness, and the belief that people are often pushed toward decisions before the deeper pattern has been investigated.

  • Ask better questions before expensive health interventions.
  • Look at the full timeline, not one isolated symptom.
  • Respect medical care, but do not confuse access with understanding.
  • Use education to slow down decisions before money, risk, and momentum take over.
  • Listen to the signals the body is already giving.

Best Is Me provides health education, root-cause investigation, and decision support. This is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency care, or a replacement for care from a licensed medical professional.
