A child said the words. The work finally made sense.
Best Is Me started as a family moment. It became a root-cause education project, a health decision-support platform, and a call to listen harder before we make bigger decisions about our bodies, our families, and our communities.

Best is Me – Story of Divine Intervention
Listening to Our Children
“Best is Me” started as a deeply personal experience when my daughter overheard my wife and I talking.
As an educated doctor of medicine, I was on a mission to start a “Root Cause Clinic” for years. With finances stretched and frustrated with progress the conversation turned to discussing the reasons for it. I don’t want to start a clinic people can’t afford. I want a legacy to leave behind, not just for my children. And then I said out loud: I want to do something BETTER!
“Best is Me” started when my daughter approached me at that exact moment and said: “Daddy … Best is Me.”
Time stopped. Pride took over that only a father would understand. At that moment, I didn’t fully grasp the concept just yet. But the evening was full of hugs, kisses, and tears. Nothing else mattered.
It comes down to simple, undeniable, God-given rights that have been taken away.
Sun. Sky. Grass. A child outside.
The next morning, my daughter handed me the drawing. A child in the elements. Sun, sky, grass, flowers, and her proud father watching over her.
That picture said more than any pitch deck, protocol, or business plan. It showed the simplest version of what children want and what families are losing.
Our children are always listening. It is time we listened to our children.
Is that picture still our children’s reality?
Too many children are inside all day, under artificial light, surrounded by screens, processed food, stress, and adults who are too tired to notice what changed.
Best Is Me started with a child’s drawing, but the question is not childish. What happened to the sun, the sky, the grass, the water, the family table, the close-knit community, and the adults willing to investigate instead of accept shallow answers?
The work became personal before it became public.
The original mission was to build root-cause clinics. Then life forced the investigation closer to home.
There were years of rapidly deteriorating health, chaos, unanswered questions, long-Covid complications, cancer, weight struggles, and a body that was not responding the way it should. The standard answers did not connect the whole picture.
So the work went back to research. Notes from years of medical research, clinical trials, healthcare innovation, adoption strategy, and root-cause thinking were pulled back onto the table. The question became sharper:
That question is now central to Best Is Me.
Root-cause education before bigger decisions.
Best Is Me helps people slow down, investigate the clues, and ask better questions before major health decisions move too fast.
GLP-1s. Hormone replacement. Fertility treatment. Preparation before surgery. Recovery optimization after surgery. Fat loss readiness. Longevity interventions. Executive health decisions.
Too often, these decisions move faster than the education layer around them. The cost is not only financial. Poorly supported decisions can affect longevity, resilience, recovery, mental health, and the people depending on you.
Fat is one clue. It is not the whole story.
Fat loss matters. But chasing fat loss before investigating why the fat is there is where many people get stuck.
Stubborn fat often travels with other signals: cravings, fatigue, poor sleep, poor recovery, GLP-1 rebound, low testosterone signals, PCOS patterns, perimenopause symptoms, blood sugar swings, inflammation, stress load, brain fog, and low resilience.
The better starting point is not “attack the fat.” The better starting point is: what else is showing up with it?
Private support before the expensive step.
Executives and high achievers are moving into GLP-1s, hormones, surgery, fertility treatment, fat loss protocols, and longevity clinics faster than the support layer around them is being built.
Access is not enough. Top performers need private education, better questions, and decision support before the intervention becomes a performance, recovery, or retention problem.
Families need better questions. Communities need leaders.
Best Is Me was never only about one person’s health. It was about households, children, choices, local action, and the uncomfortable reality that many people are waiting for someone else to fix problems they can start investigating today.
The old message still stands: learn, investigate, take action. Your children are watching. Your choices become their choices.
The story behind the work.
Best Is Me was founded by Simon Sikorski, MD, after years at the intersection of medical research, healthcare innovation, clinical education, personal illness, and root-cause investigation.
His founder page explains why the work is not anti-doctor, not generic wellness, and not another fat-loss pitch. It is about asking better questions before major health decisions move too fast.

Best Is Me is not only private health decision support. The work also points to a bigger reality: families need cleaner water, better food, local resilience, and access to education before making expensive health decisions.
Read Advocacy & AccessThis is education. Not medical care.
Best Is Me does not diagnose, treat, prescribe, manage medication, order labs, interpret labs as medical advice, or replace your physician or licensed provider.
The work is root-cause education, pattern review, lifestyle investigation, decision support, and helping people organize better questions before the next step.
If you have a medical condition, emergency symptoms, medication questions, lab abnormalities, or treatment decisions, work with a licensed medical professional. Best Is Me helps you prepare better questions and understand the broader pattern.
Choose the level of investigation you need.
Some people need one focused question answered. Some need a deeper root-cause education session. Some are ready for the full 6-week private fat loss program. Start where the problem actually fits.
